Authorities found 3 dogs living in filth. The 4th dog was found dead just inside the front door. Police discovered the animals living in wall-to-wall dog waste after responding to a complaint. Officials estimate it took several years to accumulate the staggering total of waste they found.

Neighbors told the police that the animals, were never let out of the building and that Daigle would come by on occasion, enter for a short time and then leave. The dogs did not appear to have access to water. Pornographic magazines were also found on the premises.
