Pennsylvania SPCA officers capture a man whom they call a serial cat killer.

23-year-old Erik Lach, of the 2900 block of W. Schoolhouse Lane, is charged with three counts of animal cruelty.

The SPCA accuses Lach of killing two cats and nearly killing a third in the city's East Falls neighborhood, over the past four weeks.

Officers said they took bloody bed sheets, floorboards and other items from Lach's apartment where he allegedly tortured the cats.

Lach also faces one misdemeanor count of drug possession.
