Jessie, a black-and-brown tabby, was found on Oct. 17 on a Norco street. She had been shot with a 34-inch-long target arrow that entered her right side and was poking out near her left shoulder.
The arrow missed Jessie's spine and major organs. It was removed by a vet at the Animal and Bird Hospital. Jessie was sent home on Wednesday and the vet says she's doing fine.
Investigators aren't sure whether the cat was shot accidentally or on purpose and there have been no arrests. References« CA State Animal Cruelty Map « More cases in Riverside County, CA
