An Orland Park woman is facing animal cruelty charges today after police said they found her emaciated and ill German shepherd wandering loose.

The woman was charged with misdemeanor animal cruelty this week after police found her severely emaciated German shepherd wandering on Clear Creek Crossing, police said.
