Suspect(s) Unknown - We need your help!

A cruel act of violence against an animal in Ashtabula County has police on the lookout, and residents upset, NewsChannel5 reported.

NewsChannel5 reporter Alicia Scicolone said Pumpkin the cat was shot with an arrow and it was no accident. She said Pumpkin is a fighter, and that's why he's still alive.

A veterinarian said the arrow just missed his major organs.

"He's got a lot of infection. The wound was full of maggots from top to bottom and they were quite a good size. So it's been in there probably two or three days for it to be in that condition," said Diane Veale with the Country Doctor Vet Clinic.
