A woman walking her French poodle on Sept. 22 told police she heard a gunshot in the 3200 block of Gilboa Avenue and continued on the walk. When she returned home, the 3-year-old dog named Raven was crying and was found to be shot. The dog was treated at an animal hospital, but it appeared the dog would have to be put down due to the injury, police said.
