Police are investigating a Crabblemill Court resident who moved out, but left behind her dog and two cats.

The tenant's landlord told police the missing tenant was two months behind on her rent and that she left her dog locked in a bathroom and left two cats to wander the neighborhood. Animal control investigators removed the malnourished and dirty dog from the feces-filled bathroom on Sept. 15.
