Over two dozen cats seized from hotel room
Roanoke, VA (US)

Incident Date: Wednesday, Sep 3, 2008
County: Roanoke City

Disposition: Not Charged

Abuser names unreleased

More than two dozen cats are seized from a Roanoke motel room.

Animal control got a tip that a woman was living with way too many cats at the Starlite Motor Lodge on Melrose Avenue.

Officers found 26 cats in the womans room Wednesday afternoon.

You can only keep 4 to 6 cats in the city.

The woman could be charged.

The cats are being checked out at the SPCA but they dont have room for them and need foster and adoptive homes so they wont have to put them down.
