weak sentence = one star
strong sentence = 5 stars

more information on voting

When you vote, you are voting on whether or not the punishment fit the crime, NOT on the severity of the case itself. If you feel the sentence was very weak, you would vote 1 star. If you feel the sentence was very strong, you would vote 5 stars.

Please vote honestly and realistically. These ratings will be used a a tool for many future programs, including a "People’s Choice" of best and worst sentencing, DA and judge "report cards", and more. Try to resist the temptation to vote 1 star on every case, even if you feel that 100 years in prison isn’t enough.

Case Updates

Dudeck is facing more time in jail because he is charged with violating the terms of his house arrest by drinking alcohol and leaving his residence without authorization. Dudeck has pleaded innocent to violation of house arrest. He faces up to five years in prison if convicted of violating his house arrest.

The house arrest violation report states, on Nov 15 Dudeck checked in with a probation officer who smelled alcohol on his breath. He took two Breathalyzer tests and blew .091 and .098 percent. The level a person is considered legally drunk in Florida is .08 percent and consumption of alcohol is against the conditions of house arrest.

Also, Dudeck was not home when a probation officer made a visit on Oct 8 and on Nov 15. Assistant State Attorney Dave Scuderi said he would press for four years in prison. Dudeck has a multitude of prior arrests, including 22 misdeameanors, most of which were drug- or alcohol-related.
