Lapradd of 281 Doty St. was arrested and charged with animal cruelty and domestic battery.

Lapradd was having dinner with his girlfriend, when they began to argue.  The girlfriends dog came to her aid and attacked Lapradd.  He then took a knife from the table and began to stab the dog.  The girlfriend came to the aid of the dog and Lapradd stabbed her in the upper thigh.

The girlfriend went to a neighbors house and called police.  When the police arrived, Lapradd was holding down the dog.  The dog was taken by animal control for treatment and the girlfriend was taken to St. Margaret Mercy Healthcare Center where she was treated and released.
