A complaint was made that Dake Fu of the Happy Apple, Turquoise Island pets, sold a Yorkshire terrier that was ill with Coccidia to the extent that the puppy's health was in jeopardy, which needed extensive Veterinarian care. This complaint was reported to have occurred in May of 2008.
Dake Fu was contacted by the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office on July 13, and turned himself in to be charged with the Misdemeanor of Selling Sick or Diseased Animals. Dake Fu was processed and released on an appearance ticket to appear in the Town of Charleston Court on July 24.
