A woman and dog were injured Thursday night when suspects fired at least 20 rounds into an East Mesa home. The woman was struck in the leg and the dog hit in the stomach.
Two people were sitting in the living room of the house, near Higley and Brown roads, when shots were fired at around 11:00 p.m.
A possible suspect car was described as a white Cadillac, according to a police report. Police said there were no witnesses or suspect information to go on.
Several pieces of shell casings were found in the street, according to the report.
The woman was taken to a hospital to be treated and she was released.
