Hagerstown City Police have arrested and charged a man they believe shot a dog during a recent armed robbery. Randolph Johnson now faces armed robbery assault and animal abuse charges. The robbery happened early last month outside of a home on Wakefield Street.
Police said Johnson threatened three people with a gun, hit one of the victims, and demanded money.
When the victim's dog came to the door, Johnson shot him in the neck.
