County: LakeDisposition: Alleged
Alleged: Camille M. Jarchow
The 4 dogs, 2 St. Bernards, a Chow and a Rottweiler, were removed from the home at 2547 Clough St. after being found in a flooded basement with a dead cat.
The house was immediately red-tagged and deemed unfit for habitation. The owner was arrested and charged with 4 counts of animal neglect and cruelty to animals when she went to the police stateion to ask why her house was boarded shut and her dogs were gone.
In 1988 dogs were taken from Jarchow under similar circumstances. Jarchow was living in the house until February, when her pipes burst and flooded the basement. Jarchow's two cats were not found.

Note: Classifications and other fields should not be used to determine what specific charges the suspect is facing or was convicted of - they are for research and statistical purposes only. The case report and subsequent updates outline the specific charges. Charges referenced in the original case report may be modified throughout the course of the investigation or trial, so case updates, when available, should always be considered the most accurate reflection of charges.
