more information on voting
When you vote, you are voting on whether or not the punishment fit the crime, NOT on the severity of the case itself. If you feel the sentence was very weak, you would vote 1 star. If you feel the sentence was very strong, you would vote 5 stars.
Please vote honestly and realistically. These ratings will be used a a tool for many future programs, including a "Peoples Choice" of best and worst sentencing, DA and judge "report cards", and more. Try to resist the temptation to vote 1 star on every case, even if you feel that 100 years in prison isnt enough.

Dog castrated with rusty razor blade Raymond Terrace, NSW (AU)Incident Date: Tuesday, Mar 18, 2008
Disposition: Convicted
Defendant/Suspect: Amalia Nabor
A woman, who cut off one of her dog's testicles with a rusty razor blade to punish him for running into the yard, has been given a 12-month good behaviour bond at a Raymond Terrace court.
Neighbours of Amalia Nabor, of Raymond Terrace, heard Charlie, the Maltese terrier, screaming in the yard in March this year, and called police.
When police arrived at the home the dog had been locked in the shed.
As soon as they opened the door, Charlie ran out towards them, covered in blood, and collapsed.
Nabor told police she had cut the dog because she was cranky with him.
Charlie was rushed to a local vet where he was given immediate surgery. He suffered a heart attack on the operating table, but was resuscitated.
Nabor, who pleaded guilty to aggravated animal cruelty and failing to provide veterinary treatment at Raymond Terrace Local Court on Tuesday, had to enter into a one-year bond, and pay $1070 in fines, to cover the costs of the RSPCA.
The RSPCA has been given custody of Charlie and he is at Yagoona Shelter waiting for a new, loving home. References
