A goose that had been shot with a nail gun in the neck has been rescued. Members of Carolina Waterfowl Rescue had been trying to capture the bird for weeks to remove the nail. But when they tried to coax the bird with some bread, it didn't work.

The group thinks the goose was the victim of animal cruelty.
