A man was charged with two misdemeanors after the Henderson County Sheriff's Office says he failed to provide proper care to his animals.
According to the Hendersonville Times-News, Michael Jones, of 324 James St. in East Flat Rock, was charged with cruelty to animals and failure to maintain current rabies vaccinations. The newspaper says that seven pit bull dogs were seized as a result of an investigation that revealed the dogs were undernourished, without any food or water and lacking proper medical care.
