Suspect(s) Unknown - We need your help!

A Valley dog will be up for adoption Wednesday after being rescued from a life of serious abuse.

Maricopa County Animal Care and Control, a full service animal welfare agency with shelter and adoptions, took in Munchie with numerous severe injuries.

He was emaciated with fresh bite wounds and scars, and suffered a broken neck and collarbone.

Inner ear damage caused him to fall and walk in circles.

MCACC employees believe Munchie might have been used in dog fighting because his canine teeth were broken.

Munchie cannot play with larger dogs because he might hurt himself and is still on medication for Valley Fever.

Munchie loves people, other dogs, cats, children, and is always jumping up for love.

A home with smaller dogs or none would be ideal for Munchie.

He will need constant medical attention, but he will provide a lifetime of love and gratitude to his future owner.

Munchie has been living in a foster home since coming to MCACC.

He is now ready for a permanent home.

Anyone interested in adopting Munchie should send an email to Aprille Hollis by June 4th, 2008.
