Deputy Doiel responded to a residence in Little Sioux per cruelty to an animal. Upon investigating, the female resident came home and found their cat dead in the bedroom. The investigation disclosed the male resident killed the cat after he became upset stepping into cat feces on the floor. Andrew Bothwell was charged with animal torture.
