Alexander, age 45, has been charged with assault with a dangerous weapon after he threatened to kill his barking dogs, then his wife with a kitchen knife.

Alexander became enraged when his 4 dogs began barking in their Phelps Rd. home. He put on a pair of rubber gloves, grabbed a knife from the kitchen, and threatened to kill the dogs and his wife.

Alexander's wife Barbara, grabbed the knife and hid it in the kitchen, then called the police. When the police arrived, Alexander pretended to be asleep on the couch.
