Pregnant dog caught in leg trap, shot

A stray dog is rescued after getting one of her legs caught in a trap. The dog is pregnant and had also been shot.

Stray Rescue is now offering a reward to find out who may be responsible for mistreating the animal. It's a pretty big dog but it is bone thin.

The dog was found in an old warehouse off north Union near Interstate 70 in north St. Louis.

Tina Kiel works nearby and she called grim to the rescue

After some co workers spotted the injured dog limping.

The pet Stray Rescue�s Randy Grim named Sahara had to be sedated and the trap removed.

Luckily there are no broken bones.

But the expectant mom's x-rays indicated she'd been shot.
