Two people and a dog were found shot to death Friday evening at a house in Gary.

A family member found a man and a woman dead inside a house in the 2400 block of Polk Place around 6:19 p.m., Lt. Del Stout said. The names and ages of the victims were not available at press time.

Stout said no motive for the killings was immediately known. Police were canvassing the neighborhood for witnesses Friday night.
