This past weekend, after Minyard-Doane was already charged in connection with Eve's alleged neglect, two other dogs that were identified as Minyard-Doane's were found abandoned at a Millville gas station, Gordon said.

As a result, Minyard-Doane was charged with multiple counts of animal cruelty and two counts of animal abandonment.

The cases will be heard this week in Hamilton Municipal Court and Butler County Area II court. Anyone interested in adopting Eve may call the Animal Friends Humane Society in Trenton 513-867-5005.
