State police are looking for help in a Hanover Township animal cruelty case. According to a statement released from the Bethlehem barracks, troopers discovered remains of two goats at about 2 p.m. Tuesday on Route 22. The remains were found in a plastic bag in the eastbound lanes, one-tenth of a mile east of Fullerton Avenue, police said.

Police did not elaborate on why they considered the case one of animal cruelty.

Anyone with information can call the state police Bethlehem barracks at 610-861-2026. The police statement lists Trooper Christopher J. Zukowsky as investigating officer.
