Cat and kittens bound, left in plastic bag Brooklawn, NJ (US)Incident Date: Wednesday, Dec 26, 2007 County: Camden
Disposition: Open
Suspect(s) Unknown - We need your help!
A family of kittens is found tied up and left to die inside a trash dumpster in Camden County.
On the day after Christmas, a man from Brooklawn heard cries from a mother cat and her three kittens. When he looked inside the dumpster, he found the cats' heads and legs hog-tied with twine and knotted in a plastic bag.
A pet rescue group is trying to find a home for the cats and is asking for donations to cover veterinary expenses.
"Each animal, including the mom, will be spayed and neutered and there's a series of vaccinations they'll have to get," said Jennifer Smith of Furrever Friends. "Then they'll be ready for adoption."
