Suspect(s) Unknown - We need your help!
The SPCA wants to know who abandoned two pit bull puppies on a Philadelphia street corner. The puppies were put in a duffel bag and left at the intersection of 23rd and West Moreland streets in North Philadelphia.
The puppies were brought in by Philadelphia police officers and are being evaluated by veterinarians to see if they're OK.
The SPCA and the police department are investigating.
Anyone with information on any of the cases can provide it through the organization's Web site, PSPCA.org or by calling the shelter's main number, 215-426-6300, and asking to speak with an investigator.
Identities of the callers are kept confidential.
Note: Classifications and other fields should not be used to determine what specific charges the suspect is facing or was convicted of - they are for research and statistical purposes only. The case report and subsequent updates outline the specific charges. Charges referenced in the original case report may be modified throughout the course of the investigation or trial, so case updates, when available, should always be considered the most accurate reflection of charges.
