A dog that was shot with an arrow and left for dead is going under the knife to fix ongoing problems.
Newschannel 3 told you about Dudley back in September, when he was found near the Westlake Nature Preserve in Portage, with an arrow lodged in his shoulder.
Since then, Dudley's owners, the Bennetts, have spent $5,000 to repair Dudley's injured shoulder, but with little success.
Betsy Bennett says that ever since the incident, Dudley gets tired much faster.
"He's a lot slower than he used to be, he used to go three miles for every one I went," she said.
Dudley's Owners say they had considered amputating his leg when he was originally shot with an arrow, but tried to get him back to health before going to extreme measures.
Now the Bennetts have decided to go ahead with the amputation, but want to know who hurt their pet.
There is still is a $500 reward for info that could lead to an arrest.
