On Dec. 4, Deputy Chris Brown, also an animal control officer, investigated a case in which a dog was injured, allegedly by a juvenile who is a neighbor of the dog's owner.

The owner, a woman who lives on Cindy Drive, told the deputy that her neighbor had been calling and leaving messages threatening "to kill her dog," the report says. She also told the deputy that "her neighbor had poured gas on the dog about two weeks ago." When she contacted Deputy Brown, the dog "had cuts on its face and under its legs," the report says. The case is still under investigation.
