more information on voting
When you vote, you are voting on whether or not the punishment fit the crime, NOT on the severity of the case itself. If you feel the sentence was very weak, you would vote 1 star. If you feel the sentence was very strong, you would vote 5 stars.
Please vote honestly and realistically. These ratings will be used a a tool for many future programs, including a "Peoples Choice" of best and worst sentencing, DA and judge "report cards", and more. Try to resist the temptation to vote 1 star on every case, even if you feel that 100 years in prison isnt enough.

Disposition: Convicted
Defendant/Suspect: Antonio Corchado
Nineteen of 32 men arrested while organizing or viewing a cockfight inside a South Camden home pleaded guilty Wednesday to a variety of charges, authorities said.
Charges against the remaining defendants have been referred to a grand jury, said Assistant Camden County Prosecutor Tracy Cogan.
One of those arrested pleaded guilty to a felony, being present at a cockfight or baiting an animal. Antonio Corchado, 43, of Philadelphia, admitted the offense as part of a plea agreement that includes a one-year term of probation. He'll be sentenced May 30.
The other men who appeared at a Superior Court hearing here pleaded guilty to municipal charges of baiting animals, and agreed to pay fines ranging from $250 to $400. Some were ordered to complete one day of community service.
The men were arrested March 14 at a home in the 2000 block of South Broadway, said Cogan. Some roosters used in the fights were dead and others were destroyed by animal welfare officials, she said. References« NJ State Animal Cruelty Map « More cases in Camden County, NJ
