Dog kicked 20 feet Hemet, CA (US)Incident Date: Wednesday, Oct 31, 2007 County: Riverside
Disposition: Alleged
Alleged: Jordan Drew Graham
On Oct 31, a man was at the Hemet Public Library, 300 E. Latham Ave. when he kicked a library employee's rat terrier about 20 feet while in a rage, Dill said.
Jordan Graham, 22, told police he was sitting at a computer and began "hearing voices," then began shouting, pushing and punching people, Dill said.
As the terrier -- clad in a spider costume for Halloween -- and her owner walked into the building, Graham allegedly sent the pup flying with a swift kick, Dill said. He struggled with arriving police officers and told them after being subdued that he "didn't believe the dog belonged in the library," Dill said.
Graham was booked into the Southwest Detention Center on suspicion of resisting a public official, battery and cruelty to an animal, according to sheriff's jail records, which did not indicate a court date.
He was released last Friday on his own recognizance. References« CA State Animal Cruelty Map « More cases in Riverside County, CA
