Case Updates: 1 update(s) available

According to an article in the Hot Springs Village Voice, someone purposely aimed a bow at a dog, named Lucky Jack, playing in a field and shot an arrow into his skull. The arrow didn't kill him and somehow missed his eye and brain. No further information is available at this time.

Case Updates

Lucky Jack is now in Louisiana for surgery to remove the arrow. Two boys took him to a vet's office in Hot Springs Village in early September.

Volunteers raised money to send the dog to LSU for surgery. He went to Baton Rouge Sunday. We're told he did well on the trip. As for the surgery, they are running tests to make sure he is ready.

More than $5,000 has been raised for the surgery. The extra money will be used to rehab other dogs.
