State police in Mercer are looking for the person who shot a dog with an arrow.

The Labrador, belonging to Kevin Montest of Stoneboro, survived the attack that occurred on McDougal Road in New Vernon between 6 and 6:30 p.m. Nov. 1, state police said. There was no description on the suspect.
