A family�s pet pony and goat were shot once in the head at close range last month in a pasture on their owners' property in Genesee County.

Earlier this month, owners Shelly and Bill Schutt offered a $100 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the shooter.

PETA, People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, on Tuesday increased the reward by $1000, saying that other animals in the area are in danger as long as the person responsible remains free.
