On Sept. 10, Morris County Society on Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Law Enforcement Division officers responded to a call at 10 Glenbrook Drive on a report of a dog that appeared to be in distress and very emaciated. Officers responded and met with township police officers and found signs of neglect and owners that were reportedly very belligerent. The dog was taken into protective custody and transported to St. Huberts for evaluation. The people arrested were Ryan Button, 23, and James and Clare Button, both 50.
