On Sept. 4, Morris County Society on Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Law Enforcement Division Officers responded to a call at 60 Ironia Road on a report of a dog left outside unattended without proper shelter and water. Officers arrived and found a male doberman pinscher left unattended with no proper shelter or water, and also was tied up.

The woman who was arrested, Sonnia Lambert, 49, was issued a summons for animal cruelty, police said.

The dog was placed in protective for an evaluation by a veterinarian at St. Huberts.
