A West Side woman was arrested for animal cruelty late Sunday morning after police officers found a starving bulldog in her backyard.
Two additional neglected dogs were found at 11:22 a.m. Sunday in 29-year-old Maureen Marie Markulin's Matta Avenue home, according to reports.
Mahoning County Humane Agent, John Hall, is expected to add on two more counts of animal cruelty on Markulin Monday morning.
Police say one of the dogs was so weak from starvation it could not walk without falling over. Neighborhood MapFor more information about the Interactive Animal Cruelty Maps, see the map notes.
