A dog fight leads to the arrest of an Austin man. Court documents show a pit bull owned by 42-year-old Anthony Hardeman was engaged in a fight with a second pit bull in the 8200-block of Sam Rayburn Drive, when Austin police stepped in and stopped it.

The dogs were taken to the Town Lake Animal Shelter for treatment.

Records show Hardeman and the owner of the second dog were arrested and charged with cruelty to animals.
