Marcus Gaskin of West Palm Beach pleaded guilty to animal-fighting after officers found a severely mauled red pit bull near his property in August 2001.

The injured dog was seized, along with two others.

He was placed on probation and enjoined from owning or fighting dogs.

Neighbors complaints about continuing pit bull fighting led to a second search warrant in June 2002.

His probation was violated and two more dogs were taken away from Gaskin.

The judge extended his home-restricted probation to three years, and ordered Absolutely no contact with any dogs.
