The Medford Police Department and Crime Stoppers of Southern Oregon are trying to locate convicted felon and wanted subject Ryan Patrick Hall, age 33.
Hall is a suspect in a menacing case that occurred on June 16 in Medford. Police accuse Hall of menacing his girlfriend then shooting her pit-bull puppy in the head with a .25 automatic handgun. The suspect fled before police arrived on scene. The puppy is expected to survive.
Hall, a convicted felon, faces charges of felon in possession of a firearm, first-degree animal abuse and menacing. There is also an outstanding misdemeanor warrant on Hall held by Medford police for probation violation on an original charge of fourth-degree assault.
Hall has criminal histories in Oregon, California and Arizona. He served seven years in an Arizona prison for armed robbery and was released in 2002.
Hall is described as a white male adult, 6 feet 1 inch tall, weighing about 185 pounds. He has brown hair and blue eyes. He has a tattoo of a phoenix on his right forearm, a sun on his left forearm, the grim reaper on his upper left arm and a tribal tattoo on his neck.
