A Knoxville man has been charged with aggravated animal cruelty after Knoxville Police say he killed three kittens.

Monday evening around 7:30, police officers responded to a domestic call at 302 North Chilhowee Drive.

According to the warrant, police spoke with 31 year old Timothy Shannon Clark's mother who told police he had killed three kittens.

Clark's mother told police he carried the dead kittens away when she called police.

According to the warrant, police found the dead kittens in a dumpster, and Clark was arrested.

He'll be in court to answer to the charge on July 6th.

It all stemmed from a domestic dispute, Knoxville Police Department Sgt. Brian Evans said. To get even with her, he decided to kill the cats.
