A Butler County woman is accused of neglecting her animals. Animal control officers say they found five horses starving in filthy conditions on a farm on Wehr Rd. in St. Clair Township this week.

They also report Barbara Flanery who owns the animals is charged with animal cruelty.

The horses are now in the care of the Humane Society.
