Puppy mill - 37 dogs seized

Abuser names unreleased

Investigators raided a suspected puppy mill in rural Johnson County Friday afternoon, seizing 37 dogs they say were living in terrible conditions.

The Humane Society of North Texas, along with deputies from the Johnson County Sheriff's department began taking the animals from crude wooden structures that looked like greenhouses set in a field.

The property is on County Road 805, just outside of Cleburne. Humane Society personnel say the place was a puppy mill.

It's not clear if any charges will be filed.
