The family of beloved horse Champ was awoken on May 2 night to gunshots. When they ran outside, they found their five-years-old their horse 'Champ' lying dead in their pasture. They believe the murder happened by a game of spotlight, shoot and kill.
Champ's owner says, "I cannot believe that anyone would do this to an animal not even a dog or cat." Champ's best friend and stable mate 'Zero' is depressed and confused now that Champ is gone.
Champ is buried now after a vet autopsy was performed to find out what type of gun was used to kill the horse. Champ's family is asking that if you have any information you call and report it to authorities.
