Crews removed 40 rabbits from a home on Willow Street in New Garden Township, Chester County Tuesday.

The rabbits were taken to the SPCA in West Chester.

The SPCA said the homeowner will be charged with animal cruelty.

There is no word on when, or if the rabbits will be put up for adoption.
