A deceased dog that appeared to be the victim of animal cruelty was found in Exeter on March 30.
Tulare County Sheriff's deputies responded at 12:16 p.m. to the area of Avenue 288 and Anderson Road in Exeter for a report of animal cruelty.
The dog was located - with front legs and hind legs tied together with a string - on the side of the road.
There were no signs of trauma located on the dog, however, the mouth of the dog appeared to be expelling foam or vomit, sheriff's said.
Animal control was contacted and responded to remove the carcass.
