A deceased dog that appeared to be the victim of animal cruelty was found in Exeter on March 30.

Tulare County Sheriff�s deputies responded at 12:16 p.m. to the area of Avenue 288 and Anderson Road in Exeter for a report of animal cruelty.

The dog was located � with front legs and hind legs tied together with a string � on the side of the road.

There were no signs of trauma located on the dog, however, the mouth of the dog appeared to be expelling foam or vomit, sheriff�s said.

Animal control was contacted and responded to remove the carcass.

This case is under investigation.
