A man in Winter Park, Fla., is accused of slamming the head of his girlfriend's dog into a wall after it urinated on a floor and then bragging about it with co-workers, according to a police report.

Police said Kenneth Kenyon became angry when his girlfriend's 12-year-old shih tzu urinated on the floor on March 26.

Kenyon allegedly slammed the dog's head so hard that its jaw was broken, resulting in an apparent permanent injury, the report said.

During an interview with police, Kenyon's girlfriend said he bragged about injuring the dog with co-workers at a restaurant.

According to the woman, the dog can no longer eat normally and is in pain.

She said he told her she should just let the dog die, the police report said.

Kenyon faces an animal cruelty charge.
