Maricopa County Sheriffs Animal Cruelty detectives have arrested a Buckeye woman on charges of animal cruelty.
Tamara Lunday, 48, was taken to jail in downtown Phoenix.
An anonymous caller tipped off sheriffs detectives of the animal abuse inflicted on a donkey and a horse.
Lunday allegedly failed to provide medical care for the animals to such extreme it resulted in the donkeys death and the horse being hospitalized.
The sheriff's office says Lunday neglected to care for and maintain the animals hooves properly for nearly four years.
The hooves were badly overgrown to the excess of disfigurement on all four feet of both animals, which could cause immense pain and suffering. Neighborhood MapFor more information about the Interactive Animal Cruelty Maps, see the map notes.
