Abuser names unreleased
Over 20 dogs have been rescued from a suspected Puppy Mill in the Langton area. Investigators got an anonymous call late last week about animals at an abandoned house.
Jan 29 to Jan 30 morning a search was conducted and 21 dogs were removed. The 13 puppies and 8 adult dogs had been left nothing expect frozen water. All the dogs were Rottweilers except for one German Shepherd. The animals severely starving, suffering from muscle wasting, poor skin and coat conditions, and other structural problems.
The dogs are now in the care of the Hamilton Burlington SPCA. They are working with the Simcoe and District Humane Society, and Brant SPCA to treat and care for these animals. The investigation continues.
