Police have arrested two people in conjunction with a dog fighting ring in Sardis, Ga., according to a Sardis Police Department press release.

Donald Lee Walker, 24, and Lenwood Heath, 23, are both charged with two counts each of aggravated cruelty to animals and dog fighting, according to Chief John Finley.

Video of the incident shows the suspects forcing three dogs into fights with a pit bull for practice, the release said. Each of the dogs was either killed or maimed. Investigators believe the men might have stolen people's pets to act as training tools for the pit bull, Sheriff Finley said.
