Officials on Jan 23 rounded up dozens of bird at a home in northeast Houston. It happened at around 11:30 a.m. at a home at 2714 Bostic.

The Human Society said Precinct 6 issued a warrant and discovered about 80 birds on the property.

Officials say the birds were being trained for cockfighting and fought at that location.

Authorities are still reportedly waiting for the homeowner who was not home at the time.
